Artistically, We consider an intervention everything that adds –functionally or aesthetically- to “ a work”, further than that, in daily life, we are constantly being intervening/intervened from everywhere, we intervene the system and this one intervene us; we make interventions, and our work is intervened, we intervene our surroundings and the limitations/reactions have a direct influence on our everydayness. To sum up, we try to intervene in our day-to-day activities while hundreds of entities try to intervene our ideas.
It does not matter if it is ephemeral or permanent, any intervention is the result of a process that has only one objective, “to be noticed “. That is why no intervention is the product of chance, even though it may be based on the use of non-conventional or informal elements. Mixed reactions, adverse opinions, heated discussions, “the controversy”, they seem to be usually the constant result of a provocation that, as a convetionality, can be seen within the whole process. Perhaps, without realizing it, we are all “artists” constantly contributing with different elements to a great unfinished work, which “without noticing” we alter every day.
We interact with the space, we think, we criticize, but rarely, we act. Our surroundings challenges us back, the system imposes itself and everything unleashes what we really are, makes us return to our core, to feel more our basic instincts and feelings, making us easy prey of our worst enemy: ourselves; simply, we are INTERVENED.

#Intervenidos
En lo artístico, consideramos una intervención a todo aquello que adicione -funcional o estéticamente- características a “una obra”, pero más allá de ello, en lo cotidiano, estamos constantemente siendo interventores/intervenidos por todos los flancos. Intervenimos el sistema y este nos interviene; hacemos intervenciones y nuestra obra es intervenida; intervenimos el espacio y las limitaciones/reacciones ejercen influencia directa en nuestro día a día; en fin, tratamos de intervenir en nuestro que hacer diario mientras cientos de entes tratan de intervenir nuestras ideas.
No importa si es de carácter efímero o permanente, toda intervención es el resultado de un proceso que tiene un solo objetivo: hacerse notar. Es por ello que ninguna intervención es producto de la casualidad o el azar, aún y cuando posiblemente se base en el uso de elementos no convencionales o informales para lograrlo.
Reacciones encontradas, opiniones adversas, discusiones acaloradas, “la polémica”, pareciesen ser usualmente el resultado constante de una provocación que a modo de normalidad se deja ver dentro de todo el proceso. Quizás todos somos “artistas” sin saberlo y aportamos de forma constante elementos a una gran obra inconclusa, que “sin notarlo” hacemos mutar todos los días.
Interactuamos con el espacio, opinamos, criticamos y rara vez actuamos. El espacio nos reta de vuelta, el sistema se impone y todo esto desata lo que realmente somos, nos hace volver a lo primario, al sentir más básico de nuestras vísceras, haciéndonos presas fáciles de nuestro peor enemigo: nosotros mismos; así de simple, estamos INTERVENIDOS.
